Welcome to the Glamorgan Federation

Welcome to Glamorgan Federation which was established in 1923, covering an area from Cardiff in the East to Pontardulais in the West and from the Gower Peninsula to the top of the Rhondda Valley.

Next year will be our Centenary year and we look forward to having a series of celebrations throughout 2023.

We have a total of 94 WIs, with WI member numbers ranging from 7 to 105.

We are a successful vibrant organisation which meets the expectations of the modern woman.

We offer a varied program for our members, with the chance to enjoy and learn new skills and crafts, as well as taking part in sport and leisure activities and of course making new friends.

We have various activities planned during the year which include debates on public affairs and community issues. In fact, our WIs have something to suit everyone.

Joining the WI is the beginning of a journey of discovery. Make this year the start of your journey with Glamorgan Federation.
