Welcome to Example Federation
Welcome to the Glamorgan FederationWelcome to Glamorgan Federation which was established in 1923, covering an area from Cardiff in the East to Pontardulais in the West and from the Gower Peninsula to the top of the Rhondda Valley.
We have a total of 91 WIs, with 3245 members. We have just celebrated our Centenary year with a packed programme of celebrations including one of our Trustees touring all of our WIs on her bike.
On the Federation - Past Events page you will find more reports and photos of events over the last couple of years. Upcoming events can be found on the Federation Events - Current page.
We are a successful vibrant organisation which meets the expectations of the modern woman. We offer a varied program for our members, with the chance to enjoy and learn new skills and crafts, as well as taking part in sport and leisure activities and of course making new friends. We have various activities planned during the year which include debates on public affairs and community issues. In fact, our WIs have something to suit everyone.
Make this year the start of your journey with Glamorgan Federation. Seek out your local WI at Find A WI. You can attend two meetings before deciding whether to join.
For current members you will find lots of useful information, but don't forget to visit My WI the NFWI website - where after logging in you have access to all that the WI has to offer nationally as well the WI Learning Hub with online courses for free or a small fee. You just need the email address that you used on joining your local WI.
Our federation secretary Beth Morgan is available to be contacted by telephone at Federation House or by email glamorgan@btconnect.com
